Rare highly engraved spring lancet. Austrian in origin dated 1790. Inscribed A. Fischer for Andreas Fischer. The spring mechanism is a swan's head design very typical of the craftsmen of Vienna. The lancet is contained in a fitted red leather case with gold triim and floral embossing.
This is a very rare French cupping set / artificial leech combination. The cups are marked Rosenmund A Paris. The set contains 2 cups, each fitted with a brass stop-cock mechanism and a breast cupping cup. All cups fit onto the brass evacuation syringe. The set also contains a screwdriver to remove the brass fittings from the cups. The unusual part about this set is the scarificator.
